Welcome to Karen and William’s kitchen. Hand-painted in Farrow & Ball Stony Ground, with beautiful deep black accents and a splash of colour in the form of Farrow & Ball’s dusky and romantic Cinder Rose on the tea cabinet. Beautiful antique brass handles and Perrin & Rowe’s elegant Etruscan taps add character.
Situated in a long room, William and Karen’s kitchen makes the most of natural light by using pale, light-reflecting shades on the cabinets and worktops, and featuring only a few wall units which keeps the space open and allows sunlight to flood the room.
A few clever little features in this one-of-a-kind kitchen include- the cabinet doors disguising an unsightly fuse box; two vented panels which run either side of the AGA which can be removed to provide access to the pipes behind; and a cranked door unit beside the side entrance which gives a wider and therefore easier access into the kitchen.
