Emma + Martin
Emma and Martin were very welcoming when we went out to photograph their Blackthorn kitchen. We chatted with Emma and she told us what she liked about her kitchen which went something like this:
“We had seen these love heart cut-outs featured in a magazine and really wanted something similar in our new kitchen but anywhere we looked they told us it couldn’t be done…until we found Blackthorn who said it wouldn’t be a problem and were able to personalise our kitchen (since they were hand-making it) and advise us on what features worked best for us.
We love our new kitchen, it’s our favourite room in the house and we’re always getting compliments on it.”
As with all of our kitchens, Emma + Martin’s was hand painted, and they chose Farrow & Ball’s Savage Ground- a warm and timeless neutral hue with the unmistakable quality of all Farrow & Ball paints.
