We specialise in making solid wood kitchens which are handmade with the traditional in-frame structure (as with interior house doors, our doors and drawers sit flush into the frame of the cabinet rather than over-frame like many modern kitchens) all produced entirely in Northern Ireland. We don't have any 'standard' designs as everything is made from scratch so we can combine elements of styles such as Farmhouse, Shaker, French Chateau, Rustic, Tuscan, Contemporary, Country etc. so that you can have a simple, elegant, timeless classic.

Some examples of popular kitchen styles:

Farmhouse - This style of kitchen may include features such as wood panelling, wooden ceiling beams and rich, warm earthy tones. Other features in a traditional Farmhouse kitchen might include natural materials like stone or wood, antique appliances and fixtures, corbels and fluting and cabinets in mahogany, cherry or walnut.

Shaker - This type of kitchen relies on a natural look with good quality craftsmanship. Recessed panel doors with thick frames feature in a Shaker kitchen, you might see natural, neutral colours, clean strong lines and rich woods.

Tuscan - This is an old world style with features such as cup and dish racks, bun feet and valence legs. A Tuscan kitchen relies on natural materials and the cabinets will often be cream, earthy or yellow. With old world kitchens you might see furniture-look (free standing) cabinetry, turned posts, copper or pewter accents, rich deep colours and appliances hidden behind panels (integrated). Other old world kitchen styles include French chateau, Italian villa and Mediterranean.

Contemporary - A Contemporary kitchen can be eclectic and combines manmade and natural materials, textures and finishes for a transitional feel (- modern combined with traditional styles giving a look that is up to date without being starkly Modern). A Tuscan kitchen might be made Contemporary by using steel appliances or having some high tech lighting. Usually Contemporary fixtures and mouldings are not elaborate but should have some degree of ornamentation.

Country - A country kitchen is often welcoming and bright, featuring woven baskets, painted and glazed cabinets and decorative shelving. Natural cabinets in oak or pine mixed with the painted cabinets are popular, with a large wooden mantle range hood for an authentic Country look.
